Here is some exciting news!!
I have gained a few new monthly supporters and I couldn’t be more grateful!
I know some of you are wondering, “but why monthly support instead of giving a one-time donation?” Well, because then you get to actually partner with what God is doing through Adventures in Missions. You get to go on the journey with us as we send out hundreds of missionaries every year around the globe. You get to see the faith seeds being planted and sometimes you get to see the fruit growing.
Example?
My supporters who have been with me for the last 3 years know that when I was in Nepal last time I sat and talked with refugees from Pakistan. I sent out their prayer request about getting granted citizenship to different countries and requests for the ones who are here to continue to rely on the Lord every single day while they wait.
Well, this time around I didn’t see some of the same ones because they’d been granted citizenship and have left Nepal! I got to spend time with old friends and see that one couple has since had a baby— something we prayed specifically for when we first met.
You, as a monthly supporter, get to be part of this journey. I love your one-time donations but I never want this to be about consuming and never giving. I want it to always be about relationship and conversation and with monthly supporting that’s exactly what happens!
I am forever grateful for the ones who have been here from the beginning— the ones offering prayers and encouragement and the ones offering finances. I could not be doing this without you.
To my new supporters, thank you! For answering what God is asking you to do. Thank you for believing in Him, in me and in this organization and what we do.
This is going to be a fun time! I’m a big fan of pictures and postcards with stories and you will get them regularly!
Now, I said in my last blog that the Lord has been teaching me what it is to boldly ask Him and have faith that it will happen. Sitting in the presence of modern day Paul’s built my faith more than anything else. That they can believe God for so much. That they have seen Him provide time and time again because of their bold prayers. Being here in Nepal again and seeing some of the fruit from my faith three years ago is also building mine up even more. Don’t worry, I’m planning a blog for all those stories and what in the world it’s all teaching me!
With that being said, I still need more supporters and I want to boldly ask you and the Lord to provide for this need. Some are called to physically go and others are called to help send. Either way, we are all called to the Great Commission. So if you feel like God is asking you, feel free to reach out to me or simply click that donate button!! If we could just get a few more at $100, $50 and $25 then I would be fully funded for the rest of my support raising and could focus on just doing the job!! You really do mean so, so much to me and I pray the Lord blesses you immensely for your obedience.
