The last few weeks have been quite the whirlwind.

I have been home from Nepal for about a week which means that Gap L has been in the process of re-entry for about a week. Their Final Debrief was so incredibly great. It was such a beautiful celebration of all that the Lord did in and through them throughout their journey. I am attaching pictures at the bottom!

I loved being on the field with them and watching them continue to finish strong. Sure, they were tired from the normal things that make the World Race exhausting but they continued to press in until the very last second. One of the greatest joys for me was when I would walk into a shop to buy something and the owner would tell me that he had met some of my friends earlier in the day and how kind they were to him. Gap L truly learned what it meant to live a life on mission for Jesus. Sure, it’s a journey of growing and changing themselves. It’s a journey of them being refined and sharpened. They’ve learned how to communicate and give feedback. They’ve learned what makes them tick and what makes them ticked off. They’ve learned who the Lord says that they are. But to me, they learned the most important thing and that’s how loved by the Father they are and how the whole world needs to know that they are, too.

They showed shop owners the love of Jesus. They showed people at their scheduled ministry what it is to find healing and grab salvation. People knew them by their love and that is all that we could ever ask for.

Gap L is now home and that means that I am gearing up to get a new squad. I actually already have them and am beginning to move forward in getting ready for their Training in just about a month. I often wonder how I can get another squad. How in the world can I love them as much as I do Gap L? How could I essentially start over at building trust and relationship with a group of 18-20 year olds? How can I lead them in the way that I led Gap L?

But I can.

Because it’s not me doing it. It’s me just partnering with Jesus in what He is already doing. That’s the beauty of this whole following Jesus thing. There are seasons and seasons end and begin.

They must.

Gap L learned all that they could on the Race and now Gap T is stepping into their season of chasing Jesus around the world and learning a lot about him and themselves along the way. It’s kind of like Narnia. CS Lewis writes so beautifully about seasons. Spoiler alert, in each book someone doesn’t go back to Narnia because Aslan says “you have learned all there is to learn from this world.”

What a beautiful picture.

As much as I hate the ending of some seasons like the one with Gap L that was so fun and so full of life, it gives me so much excitement and anticipation for what the Lord has for this next one.

Summer has begun here at Adventures and that means the busiest season. We have quite a few training camps happening and a million things in between. I love what I do and I love, love that we are training and sending out hundreds of Racers in the next few months! Be sure and subscribe to my blog for all of the updates and follow me on Insta @kacietillman

Gap T will come to Training Camp in July and then we will launch to GUATEMALA in September! I am so excited because that’s a place I haven’t been yet and have only heard great things.

Currently I should be at about $9000 in support and I am quite behind. I would LOVE if you would consider becoming a monthly supporter or making a one-time donation to help me stay on support raising track, I can’t continue to mentor without you!! If I can get just $300 more in monthly support than I will be on track to meet my fiscal year goal of $12,000 so feel free to send me a message with any questions or just click that donate button up at the top!!

I am forever grateful for all of you and all the support you have given me!
