I’m fully funded!!!

We all know how the Lord called the Israelites out of Egypt and into the Promised Land. We also know how He provided for every step along the way despite their grumbling and questioning.  We have seen in the bible story after story of the Lord providing our every need whether it’s physical healing, bread or joy and peace.

In this season of life—that has been for the last 3 years and I hope lasts for as long as Adventures will have me—I have had the beautiful opportunity to raise over $34,000.

That’s a whole lot of money.

I remember thinking about doing the Race and then realizing how much money that meant I would need to raise and that was the one thing that held me back. I wasn’t worried about going to 11 different countries around the world. I wasn’t worried about doing that with people I had never met. I wasn’t worried about the hard things that I would see. I was worried about how in the world I would reach deadlines.

Then He called me to more seasons and a job where I am responsible for raising $12,000 a year. I would love to say that at this point I am a professional truster of the Lord when it comes to finances but ya girl has her days of doubting and even sometimes grumbling.

Then, He shows up in ways that completely change my life.

The past month I have really been kicking it up a notch in support raising because my October deadline isn’t just another deadline but it’s Adventures’ Fiscal Year deadline. That means that it’s really important for all of us to be 100% funded. I have sat with the Lord and asked Him who I should reach out to individually and what I should say to them when I do. I have sent a whole lot of messages and had even more phone calls. I have been that person who posts on social media and every posts ends with a “I have a deadline… help?”

And you know what?

He’s shown up.

Most people that I reached out to said yes to supporting Adventures in Missions.

A lot of people that I don’t actually know supported Adventures because of them following me on Social Media.

Some people that already partner with me monthly increased the amount that they give monthly.

A few days ago I sat with the Lord somewhat frustrated telling Him that I didn’t know what else I could do. I’ve reached out to people. I’ve posted to the point that it’s annoying. I’ve sent letters.

So, I laid it all down and had to trust that He would provide.

Yesterday I got a message from someone who wanted to fully fund me.

I cried at the lunch table in a sports bar in Guatemala while watching SEC football with some of my leadership team.

We’ve made it to my fiscal year deadline of $12,000 and now it’s time to start again! I am responsible for raising $1000/month and I would love if you would consider joining my monthly support team. Adventures in Missions couldn’t do what we do without our supporters who invest so much into us both financially and in prayer and encouragement.

Right now I have about $700 in monthly support. If you feel led to give any amount monthly just click that donate button up top and make sure to choose “monthly”.

Really, thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me continue in what the Lord has called me to do. I am completely blown away and encouraged by the kindness and generosity of all of you.
