Gap L Updates with Pictures!

I wanted to share stories and pictures from Gap L and their time on the field for the last month. The Lord has done some incredible things in them and through them already. Here are some of their blogs and pictures that they have posted. You can click on all of their names to get to their blogs to follow along with their journeys!

Click here to read about when we sent them out with a few objectives: Take no money, listen to the Lord, share the Gospel and trust Him for dinner.

Or like when mice enjoy our beds just as much as we do. Click here to read a funny encounter with one of the pesky little guys

This team worked with the only Christian family in a village in Romania. They helped with Children’s ministry and with things around the family’s home. The family took them in like their own and showed the love of Jesus through all of their hospitality. Picture Credit: Jenna Rose

Team Vessel did a lot of different things but one of them was kid’s ministry where they would play games and then share bible stories with the kids. I had the privilege of going with them to ministry on their last day and the kids having to say goodbye to the team was a real testament to the impact the team made on them. Picture credit: Lexi

Gap L is truly learning what it is to live life on mission. They not only talk to strangers but they share the Gospel and pray bold prayers with them. This is Melanie talking with a woman on a Romanian train on one of their travel days. Picture credit: Sara

In Romania the squad took time to honor our hosts, Raul and Anna, for their anniversary and Anna’s Birthday. They wrote them letters about what they have learned from them, prayed for them and then washed their feet. Raul then washed John Mark’s feet at the end and I was a weepy puddle of tears in the back at the humility of this couple and all that the Lord taught me about leading Gap L through them.

A few of the teams passed out New Testament bibles and shared the Gospel with people. Some of them saw people healed and set free and some of them saw people accept Jesus as their savior. Picture Credit: Elizabeth

Throughout the month we had worship and did sessions as a whole squad.

Team Now worked in the office for Raul all month but one day they decided to go out and listen to where the Lord wanted them to go. They met this group of girls and through charades and broken languages they went back to visit the girls later. Picture Credit: Abby

At Debrief we have worship, sessions and fun. This night the Lord showed up in the way He does with a whole lot of His love. People raised their hand if they didn’t believe the Lord loved them like the song said He did. Then, the whole squad prayed over them and declared words over them. Walls were broken down. Doubts were covered in truth. Now, they are walking a little different into Month 2.

Jenna Rose and I are both from Alabama and Romania blessed us with Fall weather and even better trees. We may have freaked out over the beauty of this one and I’m thankful I had someone to share it with.

I still need about $400 in monthly support to continue working with Adventures in Missions! If you would like to join my monthly support team feel free to message me or send me an email ([email protected]) or just click that donate button at the top!! I am so, so thankful for all that the Lord did throughout this last month and can’t wait to see what else He does in and through Gap L. I love them in a deep way and would love for you to consider helping me to continue mentoring them!

The fiscal year ended last month and I needed to raise about $800 in 48 hours. The Lord showed up above and beyond and provided me with DOUBLE the amount that got me started on the right foot going into this fiscal year. Want He do it? I know without a shadow of a doubt that I am right where I am supposed to be and that God is providing everything that I need. I am trusting that if you are supposed to join my team, He will put it on your heart!
